    WinWeb Customer Care

WinWeb have received some enquiries from clients regarding the issue known as the Heartbeat SSL Vulnerability which has also been reported in the news.

After learning about this vulnerability the Customer Care Team have taken appropriate action to patch the vulnerability in our infrastructure and refresh our SSL certificates.

Even though we have seen no evidence on any of our systems to indicate that anyone has taken advantage of the vulnerability but as a precaution we recommend any user who has logged into the WinWeb Cloud recently change their password.

Given the widespread nature of this flaw it is good time to think about the security of your passwords so that they include capital letters, numbers and punctuation and do not resemble real words.

If you have any questions regarding this please email Customer Care.
